Lisa Grissom

Lisa has worked in the entertainment industry in various capacities over the last ten years. A native of Boston, she began her career in feature film market research for MarketCast in 1997, where she began their research screening division and managed test screenings for New Line, Orion, Fox, Universal and others. In addition, she evaluated marketing campaigns, facilitated focus groups, and oversaw research studies. In 2000, Lisa moved into the world of independent film, working as a creative executive for several production companies developing

 

scripts, as well as marketing independent films on the festival circuit. In 2003, she worked for New York’s GenArt Film Festival coordinating festival operations. Lisa is also an L.A.-based theatre producer and writer. Theatre producing credits include Red Light/Green Light, Theatre of NOTE (nominated for an Ovation Award for World Premiere Play 2004), The Maids at Stage 52 (nominated for 4 NAACP Awards 2005), Tape at The Lounge Theatre, and The Los Angeles History Project as part of the Edgefest Theatre Festival. A graduate of Wesleyan University, Lisa is currently the Director of Marketing & Special Events for the non-profit arts organization We Tell Stories, L.A.’s
acclaimed multicultural children’s theatre company.
